As previously communicated, our 12U Tournament Team Tryout is tomorrow, Aug 23, and will run in tandem with our Skills Assessment. If you wish to be a part of that tryout please attend Skills Assessments. 

Makeup 12U Tournament Team Tryout will be held on Wednesday, August 27, 2025. 

 If you will not be able to attend tomorrow, You MUST contact us before 11:59pm TODAY in order to attend the makeup session. If you have not communicated with us by the deadline, you will not be able to attend the makeup. 

*Player(s) will be run through same drills*

This does not impact regular season team placement! All players will still be placed on a regular season rec team. This only applies to those wishing to tryout for the 12U Tournament Team.

You can start checking in as early as 930am. 

The Parent meeting is for ALL AGE DIVISIONS  and will start around 10am and Skills Assessments for 8U and up will start immediately after. Please make sure you player has water as it will be very hot. They will also need at minimum their glove and preferably cleats. 

• Some important notes for Saturday:
  • Regardless of Age Division - please make sure you check in at the table for your Age Division.
    • The volunteers at the table for your Age Division will give you a bib and number to pin on your daughter for Assessments.
  • 6U will be dismissed AFTER the Parent Meeting has ended.
  • If you are interested in trying out for the 12U Tournament Team, please let them know at check in. 12U Tryout will run in tandem with the 12U Skills Assessment.

Our Spring season is wrapping up! We can't believe it has gone by so quickly

A couple of important reminders:

All Stars Tryouts and Parent meeting will be on Friday, April 25 starting at 6pm. Please go to the All Star tab for packet of information. It was also emailed out to all of the emails that were included on registration forms. 

Closing Ceremonies is Sat, May 3. We will have games in the morning and will be followed by our awards to wrap up our season. Please see schedule posted in your GroupMe chats.

Hello Softball Family!!

The Comal County Fair is upon us and our Roasted Corn Booth is our BIGGEST fundraiser of the year!!

We do not have the girls do door to door sales as we know we get enough of this already at our schools, etc. We just need some help from our wonderful parents and softball family to make sure we can get that roasted corn out to all those that are ready for this delicious food!  We also have items to donate that could assist us as well.

The more we get donated, the less expenses we pay - which means more money for the league!!

We WILL have a 'float' in the CCF Parade. Any current NBGSA player is able to join us!!

 When: Friday, September 29
 Dropoff: starting at 8am (Yes!! you can stay with your daughter and join in with the parade!!! We need some parents to stay but that means you get to be part of the parade. Yay!!!). Please make sure your kiddos have gone to the bathroom before dropping them off as finding/getting to a bathroom will be very difficult prior to the parade. 
Where: TBD Please wear an NBGSA jersey. If you do not have a jersey, wear a shirt in your team color

IMPORTANT PICKUP INFO: Prince Solms Park area.
PLEASE please be at the end of the parade to pick up your kiddo as we will NOT be able to keep the float at the end of the parade and we will need to get over to the fair grounds to work our corn booth.  Your daughter can join the parade and you can pick her up and still enjoy the rest of the parade with your entire family!! (Idea: grab a seat for the parade close to the bridge! Bonus!)

Last tidbit. If your daughter is not feeling well, please let her enjoy the parade with your family and she can always join in the parade next year.

Great turnout for NBGSA!!! 9 girls on New Braunfels High School Softball Team started at NBGSA.  So great to see this.
